Tricia Warren is the founder of TLW Integrated Solutions, LLC, creator of The Friction-to-Momentum System™, and author of Excellence in Motion, a guide to building stronger organizations through operational excellence and change leadership. Known as The Operations Friction Fixer™, she works with business leaders to identify the operational friction that slows growth, weakens execution, and keeps organizations from reaching their full potential.
With more than 28 years of experience across healthcare, financial services, hospitality, technology, insurance, and professional services, Tricia has led complex business transformations ranging from enterprise-wide initiatives to operational improvements for growing organizations. Before founding TLW Integrated Solutions, she served as a Technology Director at Ernst & Young (EY), where she led multimillion-dollar transformation programs and partnered with executive leaders to improve execution, strengthen accountability, and deliver measurable business results.
Tricia combines a Computer Science degree with an Executive MBA in Marketing, giving her a unique ability to bridge technology, operations, and business strategy. Her work focuses on building practical operating frameworks that improve performance visibility, streamline execution, and create systems that support sustainable growth long after an engagement ends.
As a speaker, consultant, and trusted advisor, Tricia is recognized for turning operational complexity into practical solutions that leaders and teams can sustain. Why I Do This
When I look back over my career, it isn’t the technology, the projects, or even the transformations that stand out most. It’s the conversations I’ve had with leaders who knew where they wanted to take their business but couldn’t understand why it felt so difficult to get there.
They weren’t lacking strategy. They had talented people. They were investing in technology. They were working incredibly hard. Yet somewhere between the vision and the execution, things kept slowing down. Decisions took longer than they should. Work stalled. Processes became workarounds. Leaders found themselves involved in everything because they couldn’t trust that work would move forward without them.
Over the years, I realized those weren’t isolated problems. They were all symptoms of the same issue: operational friction.
That’s what led me to build my business around solving it.
I believe businesses shouldn’t have to work harder just to keep up with their own growth. When operations are designed intentionally, people know what’s expected of them, work moves more efficiently, leaders gain confidence in the information they’re using to make decisions, and the business is finally able to build momentum instead of constantly fighting resistance.
That belief became the foundation for The Friction-to-Momentum System™, my proprietary approach to uncovering operational friction, removing the barriers that slow execution, and building the operational foundation that allows organizations to grow with confidence.
